Weekend In Review

Yesterday I was feeling stomach sick the entire day. I'm quite sure it's due to the chinese food we ordered for lunch. Every time we eat there I feel sick. So why do we keep going back? It's cheap and only four blocks away :(

I put up our ghetto christmas tree yesterday, too. We had to choose a spot where Lola is the least likely to climb and knock it over/eat it. It looks okay, but all the orniments I have are old and from past relationships, so I really need to buy new ones one of these days. Take a look:




I've been working on a lot of Christmas projects to give as gifts, since money is really tight right now. I have a list of projects I hope to accomplish before tomorrow, but I'm not sure if that will happen. But I'll do my best.

I was granted one of my wishes on my Holiday Wish List. Our friends Laura and Nathaniel sent us (ok, ME) two pounds of Dunkin' Donuts french vanilla coffee and two travel mugs! Man, am I in heaven!



And I got a call from my lovely MIL and she said she's granted two of my wishes as well. YEE-HAW! I love getting mail, and I especially love getting presents. Who does't, right?

Today, the Hubs and I are going to see For Your Consideration and then get some lunch. Then I really have to work on my crafty projects. I want to at least finish one batch before The Amazing Race comes on tonight.
