I remember the bright lights and being scared and they wouldn't let my mom in the room. I had chronic kidney infections and they were running tests to see what the problem was. Turns out I have an extra ureter on one kidney. A more pleasant memory was getting the Olivia Newton John album, Totally Hot, at the age of 4.
