for about 3 or 4 days now, i've had a burning, persistent pain from my shoulder to my wrist in my left arm. i thought it maybe from sleeping on it wrong, but four days in a row? this morning it started hurting again, and i noticed a lump/swollen part on my upper arm, about 5 inches from my shoulder. it doesn't hurt a whole lot when i press on it, but it shouldn't be there for sure. it feels like someone punched me in the upper arm a whole lot, but the pain radiates down to my wrist. bah.
so, being the hypochondriac i am, i'm assuming i either have cancer, about to have a heart attack, or deep vein thrombosis. can you tell i've been googling my symptoms too much? i don't really know what it is, or what's causing it, but i want it gone. because it's freaking me out and causing me to get all anxious. something i don't need.
so i made an appointment at HCMC for tomorrow morning, bright and early. hopefully they will be able to tell me what the heck is causing the pain. i'm expecting the worst (because that's my nature), but hoping they tell me it's because i strained a muscle or something. then i'll feel like a fool, but a fool who doesn't have to have her arm removed or something like that.

If you have been using the computer a lot maybe it is carpel tunnel syndrome.
that would be a possiblity if i were left handed. my left hand/arm just sits in my lap while i'm online...until i need to type something.
i'll mention it to the dr. tomorrow.
Ya'll know what the Dr's going to say, don't you!? ;)
I'll send you $5 in the mail if he/she even gets close to going there.
Good luck with the job hunting - remember good things come to those who wait.
