Phillip and I went to see Strangers with Candy tonight at the Uptown Theater. It was OK. It was not as edgy as the TV show, which is a little strange. I was expecting a lot more. I mean, yeah, it was funny in parts, but it also lacked that "oh my god!" that many episodes of the TV show has. I don't know if that makes sense. If any of you have seen it, please let me know what you think. I wasn't totally disappointed, but I sure didn't love it.
While we were leaving I saw Chuck and Lori from Minnesota Stories. I introduced myself and Phillip to them both. It is weird, but since I've been watching MNStories since December of '05, I feel like I know them. I don't, of course, but it just seems like I do. I'm sure they get that all the time. It's still kinda embarassing. I hope I didn't sound like a doofus.
On an unrelated note, Phillip and I both work the same shift tomorrow, which is good. That means we'll both be home by 7 and we'll be able to have dinner together. It's not so fun when we work opposite shifts. But that's life, I guess.
Oh, and I sold another piece of jewelry on etsy! This makes me very happy. Especially since the person who bought the first pair left me a glowing review. I'm happy that people like my work. It makes me smile.
Have a happy Sunday, everyone!
