well, p's mom and her husband just left. we put them in a taxi bound for the airport. we spent the day with them, walking around our neighborhood. we wanted to take them on a tour of fenway, but it's closed right now for renovations. but when we got up to gate "c", the guy who was working there let us go in and take a look at the field. that was so nice and totally made don a happy person. then we went to the linwood for lunch and don and mimi got free beers! they went to the bar and started chatting up a woman who was sititng there. come to find out she's a Sam Adams representative and so she bought mimi and don two huge beers. they loved that. p and i, on the other hand, have had way too much alcohol this entire week, so we decided to leave the drinking up to them. then we came home and hung out for a while. mimi wanted to try on my boots so i let her click picture above. she's seriously the best mother-in-law anyone could ask for. i miss them already. we hope to go visit them very soon.
now my husband and i are off to bed, bath, and beyond to get some stuff for the apartment. cashin' in those gift cards, baby!
