Truthiness

i'm in a funk, dear readers.

i've been feeling this way for about 3 or 4 days now. i can't shake it.

i'm sort of depressed, sort of anxious, sort of bored, lack concentration, and i haven't been able to sit still for more than 10 minutes at a time.

forget about working on projects; i can't concentrate long enough. i've already gone for a walk and i'm contemplating going downtown just to walk around. i don't really want to do that because i know i'll end up spending money that i don't have. and buying stuff to fill a void (do i have a void to fill?) is never smart.

maybe i'm just down because i haven't had any interviews for jobs i've applied for. or that i haven't met anyone in this city yet to hang out with. or that i miss my husband when he goes to work. or that i'm broke. or all of the above.

so, anyway, i'll probably be scarce for a while till my head clears. i have nothing really to write about. but then again, ben snakepit didn't have anything to write about and he's published books about it! i read his three year graphic novel about nothing in 2 days (it was funny) and thought "maybe i should do that". but then i promptly lost interest.

anyone else ever feel this way?

Lighten up on yourself, HB -- you just had a big move.

thanks, kelly. i'm sure you're right. i just don't like feeling this way, you know? it makes me sad when i feel sad.

maybe i just need some gellato ;)

Gellato solves many problems. I will be taking you guys for coffee or something, but I'm not down there all that often, so it may take a few weeks to materialize. Catch a matinee at the Lagoon or something.

that sounds like fun. we should make it lunch or brunch or something, since phillip doesn'tlike the coffee/coffee shop thing.

any time you're free, just send me an email or something! it'll be nice to meet you!

HB,
I agree with Kelly. You've just had a big move. Plus you're not working, that'll start getting to you eventually. I've heard that the Lit 6 group will start back up in a couple of weeks. You'll meet lots of Mpls. bloggers and other fun folks and have a blast!!! Start researching bus routes to Creative Electric Studios.

Everything's going to be ok.

Yeah, and plus it's been cold and dreary. On-again off-again weather is unsettling for the soul.

You'll feel better when you get a few interviews. I had one today and it feels like a new world.
