i love this picture. it's of phillip and uncle walter waiting in the elevator. i took it tonight as we were leaving walter and carol's house. we were invited over for dinner and to watch the daily show! they are pretty hip people for their age! the daily show was a repeat, so we watched the olympics. it was a fun night, for sure. they are going on vacation and wanted to have us over for dinner since they will be gone for a month.

i know that they aren't my relatives, but i'm glad that they consider me a part of the family. it makes things easier knowing that there is family here in the city. and i think that's pretty special.
