Since it's so grossly hot out today, I decided to stay inside, park myself in front of the fan, and make some earrings. Here are four pair I've completed. The triangle ones took an hour and a half each. The long, skinny ones didn't take that long at all. I can't wait to purchase that book on DIY jewelry on Monday so I can learn different techniques. Plus, I want to learn how to make cool bracelets and neckaces as well. If you click on the photo, you can ge a better look at the designs (if you want). I really enjoy making earrings, so many of my friends will be getting a pair for their birthday and Christmas :)
I know I've written a lot about my job in the last week, but I can't wait to get back there on Monday. I have the weekend off, which is nice, but ends tomorrow. I'm scheduled for the next weekend and (I'm sure) every weekend after that. But I don't mind. I really like going in there every day. The job keeps me busy and I'm never bored. And I like discussing books with people. It's a lot of fun.
Now I'm going to bask in the A/C in our bedroom and take a little nap before The Hubs gets home from work.
