I Love My Cat, It's True...

but MAN was she in a foul mood this morning. Just check out the evil stare she's giving me:

Lola is in a Bad Mood

She sat like this, perched behind my laptop for 20 minutes this morning. She just glared at me. What did I do wrong? I don't get it. I love her, play with her, pet her, brush her, feed her, let her hog the bed, and take her outside so she can frolic in the grass. She's treated like a PRINCESS!

So why did she swat at me twice last night? Huh? I don't get it. She gives me a big gash on my nose and I'm expected to still cater to her, right? Oh, to be a cat, I swear...

Lola in a Bad Mood
I love her and her spunky personality.

Lola and our cat LuLu must have been channeling that same evil-cat-demon, because LuLu spent all of last night swatting, jumping on and generally agravating Scott...like you he woke up with a nasty 'swat' wound on his nose this morning.

Our LuLu is generally a grumpy bugger - he screams (and I mean it when I say screams) all morning for food until Scott feeds him, then as soon as Scott gets home at night he starts the screaming again until Scott feeds him.

Once the LuLu did the strangest thing to Scott - Scott was trying to pat him on the head, and the LuLu took a step back, lifted up his front paws (fightin' stylee), opened his big ol' mouth, hissed - then SPAT on Scott.

Scott has vowed to get revenge on LuLu one day.

Maybe her little mouth was bothering her and she was grumpy. My cat gets mad at me sometimes, but he will try to make up with me later.

Hey - I seem to remember you posting about some sort of thing you got involved in to meet new people. Can you please send me the URL? A guy I work with is new to the area (Pittsburgh) and wants to meet new people. Thanks!

Ah, yes, Mercury is in retrograde. Cats are very sensitive to the pull of the cosmos. Ok, I don't know.

HonBun, I think that look means "I want to eat your eyes. Delicious eyes."
