Oh My God, It's An Update

I can't believe I've gone this long without blogging!

So here's an update, in bulleted form:

• Still love my job, although my feet really hurt at the end of the day.
  
• We sold the air conditioner. I'm glad it's out of the house.
  
• I started another recipe swap. If you'd like to join, the theme is "Summertime" and you can click here to join.
  
• My battle with the DMV continues. Despite the fact that they issued me my license, they sent me a letter stating that I have 90 days to send them a copy of my "Complete Driving Record" or they will take it away from me. WTF? They never said a word to me about this when I went to their dysfunctional office FOUR TIMES. More on this later...
  
• I spoke with the woman who owns a cute shop in my neighborhood about selling my jewelry. Although she doesn't sell local artisan jewelry, she asked me if I wanted to set up a table outside her store in the upcoming weeks and sell my stuff that way. I said "Sign me up!" I'm pretty excited about it.
  
• I bought this book at work the other day and I can't wait to try out the recipes. They all look awesome.
  
• I decided against that jewelry book because it focused more on papercrafts than actual beadwork. Boo!
  
• My mom-in-law took Phillip and I out to lunch yesterday. We went to the Black Forest Inn. It was delish. Here's a photo, albeit a pretty bad one:

That's about it. I have to work until 9:30 this week. Bah. Oh well. At least I like my job, right? I just can't wait for my new shoes to arrive so I don't have aching feet by the time I get home at night.
