I cannot believe that the temperature is going to get to 101 degrees on Monday. Hello! This is Minnesota! I grew up in rural New York and then lived in Boston for 13 years and it NEVER got this hot. I guess I wouldn't mind the heat if it wasn't so sloppy muggy. I hate feeling sticky and icky. Plus, the heat messes with my stomach pretty badly and I feel nauseous and gross all day long. Bleah.
I'm also worried about my Mom and sister. They leave Sunday morning on their road trip out here from NY. Yes, they decided to drive 1,200 miles. They should arrive Monday night, right when the heat has peaked. I'm hoping that KARE 11's Sven is correct when he predicts that Wednesday will be cooler. I can't takes much more of this. Thankfully, the A/C in the bedroom is still chugging away.
If I didn't feel so nauseous and gross, I'd go to the lake. But I have a feeling everyone and their granny is at the lake today, too. So I'll just shower and try not to ralph.

It's hot & muggy in Western PA, too, Hon, but not quite THAT hot!
I can sympathize with the tummy trouble & the heat.
I saw 110 in Winona one summer.
I grew up in Georgia where it was consistently this hot. It always seems terribly unfair that we get the coldest winters and some of the hottest summer weather too.
