Butterflies

I don't know why, but I'm so totally nervous about getting to my job tomorrow. I'm just afraid of getting off at the wrong stop in a town I'm completely unfamiliar with. Or worse, the stop I get off at is miles from the next stop, on a highway with no sidewalk, and I'm out of money/my transfer has expired and I'm wearing nothing buy ballet flats in 6" of snow. Needless to say, I'm NOT going to be able to sleep tonight.

But when I snap back to reality I know that there are helpful people here in Minnesota. I'm sure someone will help me out and tell me which stop to get off. And, if for some reason, the bus is late/doesn't show/gets stuck in the snow, I have money in my wallet and the number to Rainbow Cab. So I can get there.

I just have to stop stressing out. Right?

Yesterday I spent the day hemming 4 pair of pants and a skirt so I have something to wear this week. The trick with me is finding color to add into my wardrobe. I have black, black, black, grey, and black. And a pink shirt. And a purple sweater. The last thing I want is the people I'll be working with to label me the Weird Goth Girl. I always seem to get stuck with that and quite frankly, I'm tired of it.

After I pay the cable bill with my first paycheck, I'm going to buy myself a few shirts. And a cardigan sweater. I have two of them, but they are in bad shape, since I wore them every day when I worked at my last job. So, yeah. I'm on a mission to add color into my life. I don't even have color in my bedroom. Here's proof!

In other news, I made very tasty pork chops tonight for dinner. MMMmmmmm....pork chops.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I struggled for a long time with adding color into my wardrobe, but I've been pretty successful at building up colors. Check out oldnavy.com - they have some great clearance sales going on. Based on some of the photos I've seen of you, I bet you would look great in red!

Good luck at the job!
