Happy Valentine's Day, If You're Into That

this valentine goes out to my husband. you can't get any better than this:

since my husband isn't going to be around today/tonight for valentine's day, i'm wondering what i should do with myself. i just saw on Minnesota Stories that there's a free show at the Uptown Bar tonight. free is always good. maybe i'll head up there and check out the bands.

anyone else planning on going there tonight? or does anyone else have any other suggestions on something to do that doesn't involve television or staring at the walls? i've done enough of that over the past week and i'm tired of it. plus, getting drunk right now feels like a good idea.

oh, and i'd rather not be around couples who are lovey-dovey since i'll be alone. i'm sure you understand.

sorry you had to register here, but i'm trying to cut down on the troll comments, you know?

Hey, I'm actually in the band that is featured on MN stories and I promise that if you come, we'll dedicate a song to Honey Bunny.

Ya can't beat that!

So how was the show? I was in class. I love having songs dedicated to me. They're awesome.

michele-
not bad. i had to leave early because of the whole no-car situation, so i don't know if they dedicated one to me or not. that's ok. it was still fun.

I thought I saw you in back! Thanks for coming and, yes, we did dedicate a song to elusive honey bunny. I just wish we could have provided you a more impressive audience. Can't win em' all I guess.
